By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the Services.

Mominly is an Islamic companion application designed to assist Muslims in their daily worship and learning.

Some features may not be available in all countries, languages, or application versions.

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

User Responsibilities

Islamic Content Disclaimer

Mominly provides Islamic educational content for informational and educational purposes only.

Although we strive to provide accurate, authentic, and carefully prepared content, Mominly does not provide religious rulings (fatwas), legal opinions, or personalized religious advice.

Islamic scholarship may differ between schools of thought, scholars, communities, and local practices.

Where religious guidance is required for personal circumstances, users should consult qualified scholars or trusted local religious authorities.

Nothing within the Services should be interpreted as replacing professional religious guidance.

Prayer Times and Qibla Disclaimer

Prayer times and Qibla direction are calculated using recognized calculation methods together with available location information and device capabilities.

Actual prayer times may differ due to factors including:

  • Chosen calculation methods
  • Geographic conditions
  • Device location accuracy
  • Device clock settings
  • Compass calibration
  • Environmental interference

Users remain responsible for verifying prayer times and Qibla direction where accuracy is important for their individual circumstances.

While we continually work to improve accuracy, Mominly cannot guarantee that prayer times or Qibla calculations will always be perfectly accurate in every location or situation.

is owned by or licensed to Areebi Consulting Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Nothing contained within the Services grants you ownership of any intellectual property rights.

Maintenance, software updates, infrastructure issues, internet connectivity, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.

At launch, Mominly does not require users to create an account.

  • Errors in prayer time calculations.
  • Errors in Qibla calculations.
  • Device failures.
  • Internet connectivity issues.
  • Data loss.
  • Unauthorized access to your device or information.
  • Reliance upon educational or informational content provided through the Services.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Areebi Consulting Inc., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, affiliates, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the Services.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Your infringement of the rights of another person or organization.

This obligation survives the termination of your use of the Services.

They supersede any prior understandings or agreements relating to the Services.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
